Training

Water Chemistry

At your facility the instructor trains your personnel in the management of your water chemistry. This is not a general, generic type course, but rather a specific, hands on training with your facility, your equipment, your water, your testing equipment, and your people. Training includes water balance, sanitizer and pH control. Make-up water, temperature and water chemistry maintenance plans are worked through and implemented. This training pays for itself quickly in decreased chemical usage, and therefore costs. Increased patron satisfaction due to improved water clarity and comfort is the ultimate goal of this project.

Facility Operator Training

At your facility the instructor trains your personnel in the operation of your specific equipment - pumps, filter, chemical handling equipment, and related filter room hardware. A written report is generated outlining daily, weekly, and monthly operations for optimal maintenancee of equipment and water clarity. A prioritized to-do list is developed with the facility operator for review by the facility's operation director. This training is invaluable for established operators and absolutely essential for personnel new to the duties of facility operator.

New Facility Start-up

NAC is available to be with the owner representative during training and orientation by the construction contractor. This assures complete coverage of all equipment and procedures. It also assures that nothing is omitted or 'glassed over' to the personnel unfamiliar with the operation of that particular facility. A written start-up report, generated at the time of start-up, is given to the owner. A formal report is delivered in a timely fashion. A review of the owner's manual is included, with written recommendations to the owner and to the construction contractor, as requested by the owner.

Spring Start-up

Proper start-up is the key to proper seasonal operation. Water chemistry is evaluated and chemical adjustments are determined. Pump and filter performance is monitored, and chemical handling equipment is evaluated. Pool equipment is critiqued for condition and performance. Maintenance and to-do lists are developed and prioritized. Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans are drawn up. Fine tuning assistance is provided.

Winterizing Procedure

Proper winterizing is vital to the effective operation of the seasonal aquatic facility. Systematic procedures for drain down and major equipment protection are developed with the facility operator. Check lists and equipment storage are reviewed and plans for proper overwintering of pool and deck equipment are implemented. A fall maintenance plan for easier and more cost effective start-up is developed.
